The Teachers Training
This program is focused on building up a cadre of aikido teachers and youth leaders. We have trained several teachers who are now leading active aikido programs for youth and adults in Israel and the occupied territories of the West Bank.
AWB offers teaching in technical instruction, peace and leadership skills, and organizational management for men and women who wish to become professional aikido teachers.
The Young Leaders Program

This is our flagship program based upon three core teaching pillars of AWB: Aikido practice, Youth Leadership training, and Community Building.
Our goals for social change are:
• Forge new friendships in Israel and Palestine
• Train children and teenagers in conflict resolution and leadership
• Increase optimism and hope for the future
• Increase health and positive development for under-served youth
• Train Israeli and Palestinian adults to be youth leaders and aikido teachers
AWB believes that by bringing youth together to study aikido, learn to be leaders in their community, and spend time together as equals that we can achieve lasting change. AWB recruits teachers from Israel and Palestine and trains them to be teachers and youth leaders. Our unique curriculum emphasizes non-violent responses to conflict while training them in many areas of leadership.
Our conflict Resolution and Mediation program is focused on providing trainings throughout the year in the area of harmonious co-existence and conflict resolution. AWB holds regular conflict resolution and non-violent communication trainings for Israelis and Palestinians.
